Textured images have been around for a long time, it’s very recently that they have gained enormous popularity. Flickr and other photo sharing sites/forums are filled to the brim with textured images….although quite honestly I am seeing that, many times, textures are being used for evil instead of good. So here is the quick and dirty way of making textures work for you…this is a great way to create images that a client will buy that happen to be textured, thus marrying your need to try the coolest and neatest thing out there and enabling you to feel awful proud that hey! your client loved that image of little Suzy that you spent so much time (not!) texturing and making all artsified.
